Extending the Tanzanie universe across different stages of play
Our work for Vertbaudet focused on the development of some wooden toys for baby, toddler and preschool children, designed within the already established Tanzanie visual universe.
The project required us to translate an existing graphic language into different product typologies, balancing soft shapes, natural materials, illustrated details and play functions to create a cohesive and recognisable collection.

Designed for different ways to play
We developed four wooden toys for early childhood, each focusing on different features, skills and age groups.. The panda wobbler introduces sound and movement from the very first months; the musical television turns a simple mechanism into a small animated story; the activity table combines multiple hands-on discoveries; and the balance board transforms the animal character into a full-body play object.
Although each product has its own function, they all share the same design principles: rounded shapes, natural wood, gentle colors, illustrated animals and a soft graphic language aligned with Vertbaudet’s Tanzanie world.
